Event Details

The Hispanic Scholarship Consortium is proud to present THRIVE: Live / Learn / Give - the 2011 HSC Scholar Leadership Conference.  This four-day personal and professional development event for HSC Scholars is presented in partnership with Seton Healthcare Family, Charles Schwab, The University of Texas at Austin Division of Diversity and Community Engagement, Applied Materials, and the St. David's Foundation.

About the Conference
HSC encourages Hispanic students to expect more of themselves and gives them the tools and resources to accomplish such goals. Scholars receive supplemental education through an annual Scholar Leadership Conference where community and business leaders teach them the applied skills for career achievement along with the tools for academic and personal success.
Topics include:
leadership capacity • civic and community engagement • personal branding • internships
time and financial management • strengthening professional networks • social media
graduate studies • team-building • seeding philanthropy

Several conference experiences are open to the public and we invite you to join us.
